Con la partecipazione di 2000 studenti e docenti appartenenti a 130 scuole medie superiori provenienti da tutta Italia, torna al Palazzo dei Congressi e al Palaffari dal 23 al 25 febbraio l’iniziativa I Colloqui Fiorentini – Nihil Alienum, promossa da Diesse Firenze (Didattica e Innovazione scolastica) in collaborazione con l’Ufficio scolastico regionale per la Toscana, l’Opera di Santa Croce e l’Istituto Tecnico per il Turismo Marco Polo di Firenze. The dance appeal and charm is back with Danzainfiera, to be held at the Fortezza da Basso from the 23rd to the 26th February 2012. The venue will host all the dance lovers and professionals with a national leading event , full of happenings, shows, competitions, castings, auditions, classes and training. Among the special guests, Francesco Ventriglia, Director of MaggioDanza, Carlo Pesta, Art Director of the Milan Ballet, the emerging talent of the young Staatsballet from Berlin, Polina Semionova, but also the stars of the Italian version of the show Dancing with the Stars, and the guys from the last editions of Italian TV show ‘Amici’.

The 12th edition EXMEETEX (Excellence Meets Excellence) will take place at Palazzo degli Affari from the 23rd to the 25th February 2012, organised by the Economic Promotion Agency of Tuscany. Three entire days will be devoted to trade & promotional meetings between the best suppliers and buyers from the MICE industry, including a totally new Workshop, structured to encourage meetings between buyers - selected international promoters and organizers of corporate, medical-scientific, academic and entertainment events - and suppliers - the most exclusive destinations and locations. 

STROKE 2012 will be held at Palazzo dei Congressi from the 15th to the 17th February, an event promoted by the Italian Stroke Forum, one of the most important cultural associations in Italy concerning cerebral stroke related problems. 800 participants from all over Italy are expected to attend this event.

Stroke is Italy’s third leading cause of death, as well as the main cause for infirmity in aged patients. Therefore, the best way to reduce mortality and infirmity deriving from this disease is to promote a scientific culture along with an appropriate education.
