Nextech Festival is back at the Fortezza da Basso on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 with a special “Legend” edition. This event will be dedicated to the artists who made the history of techno music, among them Chris Liebing. Once again, Florence hosts one of the main reference events for the electronic music of the last decade. Deejay, producer, radio show host and the driving force behind labels such as CLR and Spinclub Recordings, Chris Liebing become massively popular thanks to his charisma, professionalism and innovative technique. He created a personal language, making the rawest and most metallic sounds of cold Germany more popular everywhere. Among the first one to benefit from the new opportunities offered by the digital revolution in a truly creative way, Liebing’s career constantly evolved. Thanks to a set-up and to a technique going well beyond the simple idea of a deejay, his name stars in the most important world festivals and clubs.
Chris Liebing is the ideal name to open Nextech Legend in Florence, dedicated to old school techno sounds, where he will play a 4-hour deejay set.
The event will be opened by Florence duo Wooden Create, formed by Davide Rosafio and Giuseppe Gonzalez and born six years ago within the city underground scene. Rosafio and Gonzalez were both interested in the club scene and shared an intense passion, which soon led them to play in the hottest Florence clubs. Their style is varied but well defined, ranging from the darkest dub to the deepest and most sensual Detroit techno.
