An unexpectedly successful first edition of the Florence Fantastic Festival, with 22,000 tickets sold during the three days which turned the Fortezza da Basso and Florence into the capital of Fantasy. In addition to national previews such as ‘Game of Thrones’ and the first 30 minutes of  the movie ’Star Trek Into Darkness’ by J.J.Abrams, the event also offered meetings, workshops, games and activities for all tastes, as well as entertaining moments. Cosplays were the absolute protagonists of this event.

Videogiochi, tecnologia, cinema, gioco classico e l’arte nelle sue diverse forme; tutto sotto il denominatore comune del fantastico. Questi gli ingredienti del Florence Fantastic Festival, evento che trasformerà la  Fortezza da Basso per tre giorni, dal 10 al 12 maggio 2013, in qualcosa di veramente unico, per un evento mai realizzato né per stile né per portata nel nostro Paese.

Domenica 28 aprile si è chiusa alla Fortezza da Basso la Mostra Internazionale dell’Artigianato, edizion nr. 77. Alla varietà delle produzioni artigianali di tutto il mondo si è aggiunta quest’anno una ricca presenza di produzioni enogastronomiche d’eccellenza italiane ed internazionali e la sezione Digital Makers che per il secondo anno consecutivo ha mostrato le infinite ‘proprietà’ e potenzialità dell’artigianato digitale, con largo seguito da parte dei più giovani.
