Countdown to CalcioExpo, the new national event devoted to the world of soccer, to be held at the Fortezza da Basso from the 8th to the 11th September 2011. 35,000 square metres of exhibiting surface will feature tournaments, conventions, demonstrations, games, and technical training with the participation of the most famous teams such as Milan, Lazio and of course Fiorentina. Famous past soccer players will also participate, among them Gianni Rivera, Giancarlo Antognoni, Renzo Ulivieri, Demetrio Albertini, Ciccio Graziani and many others. Attendants will also be able to take part into the various disciplines of the soccer world - from Soccer for 2 to 7 players, from Beach Soccer to Freestyle, and last but not least the famous “Gabbia” (Cage) invented by coach Corrado Orrico. Others disciplines will also include Table Football, as well as the most advanced videogames. There will also be the opportunity to get to know female soccer, with matches and demonstrations for female players, starting from the under 15. An exhibiting area of over 8,000 square metres will be reserved to companies related to the soccer industry, to sports federations and associations, organisations and medias involved in the event – among them, the magazine Guerin Sportivo up to sports newspapers Corriere dello Sport Stadio, QS Quotidiano Sportivo, and websites such as quotidiano.net and calciomercato.com, which will keep everyone updated on all the events of CalcioEXpo.
