The Annual Meeting of Confindustria Firenze (the Florence branch of the General Confederation of the Italian Industry) will take place at the Auditorium of Palazzo dei Congressi on Monday, 4 June 2012. The event will be called Firenze Globale. Al bivio fra economia urbana e parco a tema (Global Florence – Between Urban Economy & Theme Parks). In addition to Simone Bettini, President of Confindustria, who will give an introductory speech, other speakers will include Andrea Barducci, President of the Province of Florence. Oscar Giannino, economist and journalist, will interview Matteo Renzi, Mayor of Florence. The meeting will end with a speech by Giorgio Squinzi, national President of Confindustria. The event will also see the participation of Antonella Mansi, the newly elected national Vice-President of Confindustria. Francesco Selvi, director of local TV channel RTV38, will be the moderator.
