The 2016 edition of Immagine Italia &Co. has just closed at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence with very positive results. The event saw the participation of little less than 6,000 visitors, while the number of international buyers attending the Fair remained stable.

The most significant performances were delivered by buyers coming from the EU countries – France, Germany, U.K., Spain, Portugal, Greece, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Belgium, Malta and Cyprus – followed by Russia, Egypt, Turkey, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia. In particular, luxury boutiques, department stores, retail shops, chain stores, online shops, agents, distributors and importers. This Florentine event lasts three days and is devoted to fashion trends concerning underwear & lingerie Fall/Winter 2016/2017 preview collections.

Immagine Italia & Co. 2016 ended with successful results to all extents: “A quality edition” – this is the first comment coming from all the exhibitors who participated. They were happy to remark the return of retailers at the fair, whose absence had been noticed in these last years. More generally, exhibitors found that visitors had a more constructive and concrete approach, and apparently came “prepared and determined to buy”. “We are extremely happy with the results obtained. Today, being able to maintain the trends of the past years is an encouraging sign”, said Stefano Morandi, President of the Pistoia Chamber of Commerce. “First of all, we must thank the companies, which once again offered high-quality collections, perfectly matching the undisputed quality of our Made in Italy products. Results lead us to continue in this direction – added Morandi – It is clear that the “Fair” concept is still an efficient format to obtain a concrete economic recovery for the Italian and international quality productions”.
