FIRENZEGIOCA - Festa del Gioco per tutti "is the Florentine play event, now in its twenty-first edition, organized by Progioco Firenze APS in collaboration with many other Tuscan associations and with the patronage of the Municipality of Florence, the Italian Culture and Sport Association and of the Italian Federation of Playful Associations.
The event, after the return and the success of last year, is in great growth with a significant change of location: it will take place in the Arsenale Pavilion of Fortezza da Basso, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September with continuous opening hours 10-20. < br> FIRENZEGIOCA is a colorful and imaginative kermesse where spectators are protagonists among hundreds of different games and initiatives, demonstrations, competitions, previews, workshops; is the party of the game for all, a great event for all ages and for all types of passion that takes place in the name of sociability, intergenerational entertainment and safety. Games enthusiasts of all ages will meet among the tables of FirenzeGioca, to challenge each other in board games, to role-play with or without masters, to participate in fun or intelligence and skill competitions, to experience and appreciate all that. which creates nerd culture for children, adults and families. The fulcrum of the event is the large playroom, with continuous demonstrations of an infinite number of games, dedicated to those who do not know them and want to get closer to the world of "intelligent play".
"FIRENZEGIOCA and I play it" is the slogan that testifies to the pride and passion of hundreds of volunteers, players and associations who are the soul of the event and who on Sunday 25 will meet right here, from all over Italy, at the Symposium of the Playful Associations, organized in collaboration with Cesvot, to tell their experiences and share their skills, with all the energy that playful volunteering can express.
There are also many seminar activities: over the two days we will talk about edutainment, gamification and playful teaching with professionals in the sector. "Educational Fun, the art of playing" is the name of the project which, with training and capacity building objectives linked to the development of skills in the use of the play tool, ProGioco Firenze proposes, with the support and contribution of the CRFirenze Foundation, inviting educators and teachers to participate.
