CONVEGNO NAZIONALE AIIC 2023 - ASSOCIAZIONE ITALIANA INGEGNERI CLINICI

In the thirtieth year since its foundation, the Italian Association of Clinical Engineers-AIIC wants to forcefully reaffirm through its 2023 National Conference the need for competent government of technologies as the only possibility to guarantee fair and sustainable access to innovation.
Never before has there been the need to know how to combine the ability to identify technological innovation in response to the need for health with the search for real and not facade sustainability, which does not mortify any of the actors and stakeholders involved.
The search for this balance, in addition to representing one of the main health drivers for citizens, lays the foundations for a real social challenge involving patients, clinicians, researchers, market operators and institutions.
It is also necessary to draw attention to the social impact of health technologies in relation to their role in helping to overcome territorial inequalities and improve the possibility of accessing patient care.
For this reason the choice of the title of the national event "Innovation and accessibility: the government of health technologies as a social challenge".
By now a reference event on the national scene, able to catalyze the interest of all stakeholders with the aim of encouraging a real comparison, an exchange of views aimed at sharing knowledge.
