AEFI at the 10th Global Exhibitions Day on June 4th in Rome, with a Program of Meetings and an Exhibition

Florence, May 30th, 2025. The 10th edition of the Global Exhibitions Day will take place in Rome on June 4th. On this occasion, AEFI (Italian Exhibition and Trade Fair Association) will organize a program of meetings entitled “Trade Fairs: Potential in Action”, to be held in the morning at Salone degli Arazzi within the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.

The event will open at 11:00 a.m. with a welcome speech by AEFI President Maurizio Danese, followed by institutional greetings. Afterwards, the “White Paper on the Italian Exhibition Industry” will be presented, with the participation of Giuseppe Schirone, economist at Prometeia. This public gathering, shared with institutions, industry professionals and the economic community, will offer in-depth insights into the current position and future development prospects of Italy’s exhibition system, supported by a forecast framework through 2030.

The meeting will feature prominent guests: alongside Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, speakers will include Antonio Bruzzone, CEO of BolognaFiere and Vice President of AEFI; Pietro Piccinetti, Coordinator of AEFI’s Internationalization Commission; Renato Pujatti, President of Pordenone Fiere and Silvio Viale, President of the Turin International Book Fair.

Following the event, the exhibition “Showcasing Innovation: Trade Fairs as Hubs of Made in Italy”, curated by AEFI, will be inaugurated. The exhibition will feature videos and emblematic products that highlight the innovative potential of Italian companies and the trade fair system that promotes them.
