Florence, 20th January 2023. Engines are warming up for the 2023 edition of FIRENZE HOME TEXSTYLE, the only international Fair in Italy dedicated to home, marine, SPA, contract & hotel textiles. The Fair will return inside the exhibiting spaces of the Fortezza da Basso in Florence and will take place during its usual time of the year – from 11th to 13th February 2023.

Organised by Acropoli Srl, this exhibition will present new collections of home, marine, SPA, contract & hotel linen and textiles, along with the latest trends concerning upholstery, curtains and furnishing fabrics. It also represents an important annual ‘test’ to monitor the new trends of this sector in Italy through a dedicated fair taking place inside a location – the Fortezza da Basso – that is nestled in the heart of Florence, in central Italy. It is the ideal event to make quality business, forge partnerships and develop synergies with the main partners and buyers on an international scale.

Once again, the Spadolini Pavilion will welcome the main leading companies on the national scene for three non-stop days full of positive energy and excitement. The various brands will set the new trends in terms of fabrics, rich material plots, unique colour harmonies, and classical and innovative ornaments. The over 11,000 square metres of exhibiting surface on the Lower Floor will showcase a wide and structured offer of proposals and new collections to embellish your house by turning it into an increasingly warmer and cosier habitat, where you can easily find your ideal shelter to pamper yourself. Focus will also be on sustainability, presenting fabrics and accessories produced with certified sustainable materials and processes, and ‘tailor-made’ solutions, that are becoming increasingly popular among demanding and non-homologated clients.

The main key players of home décor and living will gather for this event – retailers, interior designers, concept stores, furniture stores, design studios, the main distribution channels, journalists, influencers, and bloggers, all looking for new ideas and inspirations.

Year after year, this exhibition welcomes new co-operations and events. The Fair will see the debut of a side exhibition called “IL SOFÀ DELLE MUSE – Il design interpreta Antonio Canova” (THE SOFA OF MUSES – Design Interprets Antonio Canova), promoted by C.I.T.A. (Consociazione Italiana Tappezzieri Arredatori – Italian Consortium of Upholsterers & Interior Designers), ideated and curated by Federica Preto (Creative Director of FONDO PLASTICO) and created in co-operation with Art School “Antonio Canova” in Forlì for the 2022 celebrations concerning the “Anno Canoviano” – the 200th anniversary of Antonio Canova’s passing. On show, about twenty artifacts resulting from a whole year of collaboration between the creative talent of 30 students and the ‘savoir-faire’ of 20 Master Upholsterers, with the purpose of elaborating new ideas and techniques in the field of artistic and design upholstery.

Previewed during the fair, the physical exhibition will be accompanied by a digital exhibition set up inside SpazioCita (www.spaziocita.it)

Thanks to an agreement between Acropoli Srl and ICE – (Italian Trade & Investment Agency), the Fair will host some delegations coming from the main foreign markets, including Saudi Arabia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, the United States, Ukraine, and Hungary.
