Danzainfiera: three days of dance, shows, and training at the Fortezza da Basso
Florence, February 12, 2026. From February 20 to 22, the Fortezza da Basso will host the 20th edition of Danzainfiera, the major event dedicated to the world of dance that combines performances, training, and a marketplace. This year’s theme, “Believe. Dance to become”, celebrates the passion of young people who wish to turn their dream of dancing into a real career.
During the event, over 80 brands of dancewear, accessories, and equipment will animate the Brand & Store area, with a particular focus on innovation and sustainability. At the same time, the Academy & ShowBiz area will host meetings with leading international schools and institutions, allowing participants to engage directly with professionals and artistic directors.
The event calendar includes more than 270 appointments, featuring shows, workshops, masterclasses, and dance competitions, spanning from classical to contemporary styles. Among this year’s novelties are the K-CODE area, dedicated to the K-Pop phenomenon, and the Healthy & Wellness section, which will offer innovative techniques for body care and improving dancers’ performance.
