ÈNO FLORENCE WINE EXCELLENCE: The Finest in Wine Coming to Fortezza da Basso, September 21–22
Florence, July 21st, 2025. On Sunday, September 21st and Monday, September 22nd, Fortezza da Basso will host Èno Florence Wine Excellence, the new exhibition designed to bring together wine industry professionals and enthusiasts for a unique experience of discovery, dialogue and in-depth exploration. The event will be open to the public on Sunday and reserved for industry professionals on Monday, featuring over 230 Italian and international companies and 1,000 wine labels available for tasting.
Thanks to the collaboration of prominent Florentine entrepreneurs and representatives from the wine and food sectors, such as Betawine, Tagliafraschi e Associati, Vintage 04, Doppia G Selezione and Andrea Vannini Rappresentanze, Florence will, for the first time, host a two-day event focused on discovering, tasting and engaging with those who live in the wine industry every day.
Èno Florence Wine Excellence is also a groundbreaking experience for its rich offering of masterclasses, workshops and networking opportunities. The program promises an international and immersive setting, direct meetings with producers, free and guided tastings, as well as professional training sessions.
The masterclasses, reserved for a limited number of participants and held in the Polveriera pavilion at Fortezza da Basso, will delve into major themes in the wine world alongside its key players: producers, oenologists, sommeliers and journalists. Each session will be led by expert speakers focusing on regions, grape varieties, special vintages and production styles (masterclass registration will be available online once the full program is released). Among the most renowned names featured: Leonardo Romanelli, Andrea Gori and Bernardo Conticelli.
