Europa Project Week grows: new dates in october 2026 to strengthen quality and participation

Florence, February 13 2026. Europa Project Week, the first major festival dedicated to European projects, has rescheduled its dates and will take place from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence.
“Communicating through projects” will be the guiding theme of the event: showcasing EU-funded projects across local territories—projects capable of generating real change in the lives of people and communities—will help create a new, positive and concrete narrative of Europe. By telling stories of challenges, visions and results, the event aims to make Europe closer and more understandable.
The decision to revise the dates is intended to further strengthen the overall quality of the event, encourage broader institutional participation, and maximize the contribution of partners, exhibitors and the public.
“A renewed project and the new October 2026 dates will allow us to strengthen the programme, expand collaborations and offer an even richer and more qualified experience to all participants,” said Vito Cellamaro, Director of #eupw2026. “Among the new features are two additional thematic Areas dedicated to ‘Food 2030’ and ‘Tech, Startup and Innovation’, thanks also to partnerships with key organisations such as Impact Hub and E-magister, and with the support of Firenze Fiera. We are proud of the official patronage of the European Commission, which is not merely an institutional symbol, but confirmation that Europe believes in our mission—our idea of building a new public space dedicated to European projects, to the people who make them possible, and to the territories that experience them every day.”
Among the first institutions to join are the Tuscany Region, as host, and the Puglia Region; as well as the Italia Desk of Creative Europe, the national CERV Contact Point, and the Eurodesk network. All will bring significant informational and knowledge value to the expo-forum.
Europa Project Week 2026 aims to be a meaningful event—one that speaks the language of Europe and generates value for the country.
