International ISPID Conference – Palazzo dei Congressi, October 5-8, 2023
Florence, 3rd October 2023 – “Sopravvivenza dei bambini: risultati globali e sfide future” (Child Survival – Overall Results and Future Challenges). This will be the theme of the International Conference of ISPID 2023 – The International Society for the Study and Prevention of Perinatal and Infant Death, taking place at Palazzo dei Congressi from 5th to 8th October.
The conference will see the participation of guests from the association Semi per la SIDS ONLUS – Sudden Infant Death Syndrome – commonly known as “cot death”, the sudden and unexpected death of an apparently healthy infant, remaining unexplained even after carrying out a complete post-mortem investigation – and from Fondazione Meyer, who will join other delegates coming from all over the world.
The main topics discussed will include the most recent findings on perinatal death, SIDS, and SUDI – Sudden and Unexpected Infant Death.
Scientific sessions will be supplemented by a specific programme dedicated to parents, including seminars on grief, moments of sharing, and many other precious activities for all family members.
