Registrations Now Open for the Educational Events of DIDACTA ITALIA – Trentino Edition

Florence/Trento, July 15th, 2025. Registrations are now open for the scientific program events of DIDACTA ITALIA – Trentino Edition, a spin-off of the national edition, taking place from October 22nd to 24th at the Riva del Garda Exhibition Center. With this Trentino edition, Didacta Italia – the most important event focused on education and teaching innovation – celebrates its twelfth edition. For the first time, a regional edition will involve all northern Italian regions in a special way.
Spread across 20,000 square meters over 6 pavilions, a dedicated training area will host over 150 events, including workshops and seminars designed for all levels of education: from 0–6 years to vocational education and ITS (Higher Technical Institutes). Next to the training rooms, there will be a metaverse hall and an immersive learning hall, equipped with state-of-the-art furnishings and technologies.
The exhibition area will feature national and international leading companies showcasing the latest developments in electronics, augmented reality, robotics, AI, innovative 4.0 learning environments, education, language training, school tourism, educational games, publishing, school supplies, sports, music, art, theatre, environmental education and green.
The Scientific Program, created with the scientific partnership of INDIRE and coordinated by Professor Giovanni Biondi, offers a broad array of activities aimed at teachers and school leaders across all school levels.
Special focus will be given to topics relevant to alpine territories, such as small schools (which are common in mountain areas) and multilingualism, alongside broader themes like future-oriented innovation with an emphasis on AI, robotics, the metaverse, augmented reality and new technologies.
To register and participate in the training events, consult the scientific program on the Didacta Italia website:
https://fieradidacta.indire.it/it/programma-didacta-italia-edizione-trentino-2025/. Select the desired activities and complete the process by purchasing a ticket through the portal.
The Main Hall will also host a rich program of events, including several initiatives for school principals, such as one focused on leadership. According to a recent research report by the Rocca Foundation, leadership is a key factor in ensuring that schools can make a difference. This event, organized by IPRASE under the scientific direction of Professor Paletta, will take the form of a workshop featuring interactive activities for participants.
Also in the Main Hall, an international event dedicated to small schools will address the challenges faced particularly (but not only) by mountain schools. It will provide participants with solutions, methods and fresh ideas to tackle the specific issues that small schools present.
Ticket prices are 16, 25 and 30 euros, depending on the number of days (from one to three). Attendees can book up to two training events per day, which may include: 2 seminars and 2 workshops, or 1 seminar and 1 workshop.
Participants also have unlimited access to scheduled events hosted by organizations and companies.
“Didacta Italia – Trentino Edition is taking shape more and more, and the launch of the scientific program – the cultural core of the event – is a major demonstration” said Francesca Gerosa, Councillor for Education, Culture, Youth and Equal Opportunities of the Autonomous Province of Trento. “The program is further enriched by the prestigious events that will animate the Main Hall and other spaces organized by participating institutions and companies. I sincerely thank the entire Organizing Committee, which has worked tirelessly in recent weeks to create the many initiatives that, from October 22nd to 24th, will transform our province into a hub of reflection and exchange on education throughout the Alpine arc”.
“This Trentino edition of Didacta is a strong signal of attention to the Italian school system and its territorial specificities,” said Francesco Manfredi, President of INDIRE. “We are proud to contribute as a scientific partner, bringing our expertise in research and innovation. We believe that synergy among institutions, local communities and the educational system is the key to building a more inclusive and modern school, one capable of meeting the challenges of a constantly changing world. Didacta Italia – Trentino Edition will be a valuable opportunity to reflect on the challenges posed by Minister Valditara: demographic transition, reducing inequalities, the new technical-vocational pathway, education on relationships and gender equality, the new approach to adult education, effective and conscious use of technology and AI and new pedagogical and organizational models to ensure quality education in small schools and internal areas”.
“Following the success of previous editions, organizing this fourth spin-off of DIDACTA ITALIA in Riva del Garda, in collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Trento and all institutional and sector partners – said Lorenzo Becattini, President of Firenze Fiera – is a great source of pride and satisfaction for us. Not only does it confirm our strength as a driver of successful exhibitions in Florence and beyond, but it also makes us active contributors to the most important event on the future of the Italian education system. We believe that investing in an innovative and inclusive school, one that bridges major territorial and social gaps, is fundamental to building a ‘koiné’ of responsible citizens and ensuring national progress”.
DIDACTA ITALIA – Trentino Edition is organized by Firenze Fiera, in collaboration with the Department of Education of the Autonomous Province of Trento, and is supported by an Organizing Committee composed of: Firenze Fiera, the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Ministry of Education and Merit, Didacta International, IPRASE, the Department of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Italian, German, and Ladin Education and Training Departments of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, and the Regional Education Offices of Valle d’Aosta, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Liguria.
