The 55th Edition of SIDO, the International Orthodontics Congress – Fortezza da Basso, October 17-19, 2024

Florence, 7^th October 2024. From 17^th to 19^th October 2024, all eyes will be on the 55^th International Congress of SIDO (Italian Society of Orthodontics) taking place at the Fortezza da Basso. The congress will gather the most reputable specialists of Italian and international orthodontics in Florence, along with world experts of interdisciplinary treatment, and professionals dealing with new technologies and personalized therapies.

The two days of the congress – Friday, 18^th and Saturday 19^th October – will be preceded by an intense pre-congress day (Thursday, 17^th October), during which focus will be on the “2^nd Memorial IBO Sandro Segù” dealing with “Malocclusions in Adults” and “Angle-net comes ALIVE in SIDO Symposium”.

On Friday, 18^th October, the study day will open with “Tiziano Baccetti Lecture” in conjunction with “Nikhilesh Vaid, Flavia Artese, and Stella Chaushu”. During the day, the following topics will be discussed: “Interdisciplinary Treatment” and “The Continuous Pursuit of Excellence”. On Saturday, 19^th October, discussion will cover topics such as “The Future of Orthodontics”, with reports on new technologies, and the “1st Female Leadership Summit” with “In rosa” presentations.
