BORN AND LIVE AMONG PANDEMIC, WAR AND POVERTY
The XXVIII National Congress of the Italian Society of Neonatology (SIN) will be held from 26 to 29 October 2022, at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Florence, chaired, for the first year, by Dr. Luigi Orfeo.
The National Congress has, in fact, always been a great training opportunity for all members, but also an opportunity to meet and socialize for all Italian neonatologists. Together they will contribute, with their interventions, to the dissemination of knowledge of Neonatological and Perinatal Sciences, to the translation of the latter into clinical practice and to sharing with all the disciplines that contribute to the assistance of the newborn, always with the aim of the best possible well-being. for the newborn and his family.
The leitmotif that will guide the entire plenary session of the Congress will focus on three main topics of great relevance:
Being born and living under the bombs, by the RAI journalist and war correspondent Franco Di Mare;
Being born and living in low-resource countries, with Don Dante Carraro Director of CUAMM Doctors with Africa and finally Being born and living in the times of the pandemic with prof. Walter Ricciardi, Advisor to the Minister of Health.
Parallel to the SIN Congress, in fact, the IV Congress will take place, as is now customary of SIN INF, an appointment that is becoming more and more followed and appreciated and that this year will also be an opportunity to elect the new Board of Directors of SIN INF for the trien- nio 2022-25.
