Saturday 25 March 2023 - 10.30 am - Conference in the Sala della Scherma, presented by the President of the Italian Sommelier Foundation of Tuscany Paolo Cepollaro, to which the President and the Regional Council, the Mayor of Florence with the Council, representatives of the Consortia for the protection of the PDO and PGI oil in the region, representatives of the world of catering as well as television and the press. We'll talk:
- of the new cultivation techniques that also appear in our territory;
- of the placement of quality products in a panorama of ever increasing competition;
- the nutritional properties of Evo Oil with Dr. Valentina Culicchi, Medical Director UOS Clinical Nutrition Az.Usl Toscana sud est;
- of the dissemination of the Culture of Oil so that this food is no longer a supporting character but a protagonist on our tables.
At the end there will be the awarding of the Tuscan Evo Oils that have won the 5 Drops of BIBENDA 2023 from the 2022 harvest.
This will be followed, in the adjacent Sala delle Colonne, by the tasting at the tasting tables of the award-winning oils, accompanied by typical local products.
The event will finish at 5.30pm.
