CASTANEA EXPO 2025

Fair dedicated to the world of chestnuts and marroni, covering various aspects from cultivation to processing, through to use in confectionery and innovative products.
The main topics include agronomy, harvesting, trade, nutraceutics, wellness and sustainable tourism economy of inland areas.
It is aimed at chestnut growers, owners of chestnut groves and operators in the sector, offering innovative solutions for the management and renovation of traditional chestnut groves and the creation of new, specialised, high-intensity chestnut groves. An area is dedicated to chestnut wood and its applications in construction and furniture.
The event is open to the public and industry professionals. It is also an opportunity for municipalities, Pro Loco and tourist operators to promote the territory and experiential tourism linked to activities in chestnut groves.
Visitors will be able to participate in guided tastings, discover new destinations and purchase products.
The conference programme will take an in-depth look at the various aspects of chestnut cultivation, providing up-to-date data and information:
-on plant management practices;
-preservation techniques and flour production;
-preparations for catering and novelties for everyday eating;
-sustainable tourism on environmental sustainability;
contributing to the revival of an Italian historical heritage that is now current and sought after as a source of health and wellbeing.
