MIDA90: Tomorrow at the Fortezza da Basso, the final day of the 90th edition of the International Handicrafts Exhibition

Florence, May 2, 2026. The 90th edition of MIDA – International Handicrafts Exhibition, currently taking place at the Fortezza da Basso since April 25, is approaching its conclusion. Tomorrow will be the last day to visit the event, which for ninety years has represented a benchmark for the sector at both national and international level, establishing itself as the longest-running craft fair in Italy.

This year’s MIDA90 edition has so far recorded a large public turnout, especially in recent days, with visitors coming both from Tuscany and other regions. The event has transformed the spaces of the Fortezza into a large open-air workshop: from ceramics to textiles, from the food world to design, and including live demonstrations that have allowed visitors to closely observe techniques and artisanal processes from different cultures and traditions.

An edition that has portrayed “know-how” as a living and contemporary experience, capable of attracting and engaging a broad and diverse audience within a rich and cross-disciplinary exhibition path.

Tomorrow, Sunday, May 3, MIDA90 will remain open until 8:00 PM.
