Nearly 8,000 Attendees at Didacta Italia – Trentino Edition
Trento, 24th October 2025. DIDACTA ITALIA – Trentino Edition closes this afternoon at 17.00 in Riva del Garda, attracting a large turnout from schools, and reaching nearly 8,000 attendees.
“We have reached the conclusion of this Trentino Edition of Didacta Italia, which has brought us so much satisfaction and great excitement,” said Francesca Gerosa, Councillor for Education of the Autonomous Province of Trento. “The outcome exceeded all expectations – we recorded a wide participation and, above all, the satisfaction of those who participated in the numerous training events that, over these three days, focused on education, innovation, and research. We concluded today with an important international conference dedicated to small schools, a topic of profound importance for Trentino. It is precisely our mountainous regions, with their richness and unique characteristics, that inspired us to bring Didacta here – because ours is a region with much to tell and share with others, but one that is also open to building the future, engaging with different educational and organisational models tested in other regions and countries. This year, Didacta Italia has once again shown that it is more than just a trade fair – it is a place for meeting and sharing experiences, where co-operation between schools, institutions, and the research community generates value. This is an opportunity for collective growth that reinforces Trentino’s commitment to being a hub for educational innovation and a national reference in the field of training.”
“It is with great satisfaction that we conclude this 12th edition with a more than positive result, confirming the centrality of Didacta Italia as the national reference event for the future of the Italian school system,” added Lorenzo Becattini, President of Firenze Fiera. “I would like to thank the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Organising Committee, Didacta International, INDIRE and IPRASE, the exhibitors, and everyone who once again placed their trust in us, contributing to the success of this fourth spin-off, knowing that, by working together towards a common project, we can build a state-of-the-art school system capable of meeting the challenges of our time.”
“We look forward to welcoming you to Florence for the next national edition, which will take place at the Fortezza da Basso from 11th to 13th March 2026,” concluded Becattini.
“At the Didacta Italia event in Riva del Garda,” stated Francesco Manfredi, President of INDIRE, “our Institute offered teachers a detailed reflection on the theme of ‘boundaries’, which must be both responsibly protected and crossed to ensure enrichment and foster a sense of belonging within communities. These include the boundaries of inland areas, whose small schools and multilingualism must be protected; then Italian Minister Valditara’s reform of technical and vocational training to effectively bridge the boundary between education and work; and finally, education on respect and gender differences, for an inclusive school that teaches students to transcend the boundaries of differences, and experience them as an asset for everyone and for the community as a whole.”
“Didacta Italia – Trentino Edition was fully in line with its objectives – participation exceeded expectations, confirming the great interest that attracted visitors from all over the country. As Iprase, we can consider ourselves protagonists of this edition, both in the organisation and through numerous initiatives that gave voice to the research axes of the legislative strategy – from fighting against school dropout to promoting digital and numerical skills, up to the themes of formative assessment and school well-being. We also addressed multilingualism, the challenges of small schools linked to demographic change, and the central role of school management as a lever to improve the education system. This edition restored enthusiasm, participation, and the awareness that investing in schools means investing in the future of our region,” stated Angelo Paletta, President of the IPRASE Scientific Technical Committee.
“We have always participated in Didacta Italia because we believe in the value and strength of this event, which consistently attracts the industry’s leading players with its ever-new and high-profile offerings. This Trentino Edition also yielded excellent results,” said Christian Fanizzi, CEO of Wacebo, Gold Sponsor of the event.
“We are delighted to have renewed our commitment as a partner for this edition of Didacta in Trentino. It was a very productive edition that allowed us to create new regional synergies and interact with an attentive and highly qualified audience,” commented Adriana Colossio, Director of British Council Italy and France.
